Meet the tutor

"I've taught French and Spanish to students from all backgrounds and to all ages for over 6 years. As a creative and musical individual, I find that incorporating these aspects into language learning can be highly effective, engaging and most importantly, fun! I am positive with my approach and have a good way of pushing students to achieve highly. My supportive manner with people is a strength of mine, and I manage to build a good rapport with all, which helps people feel confident and comfortable when learning a new, sometimes daunting, language.

I'm always on the lookout for new ways of modelling "tricky" grammar points in a more user-friendly way, whether this means using new technology, activities or looking at something from a new perspective.  If you're looking for precise guidance on exam preparation, successes and traps, you can be sure to feel confident, being up-to-date with the latest AQA and Edexcel exams for GCSE (French and Spanish) and A Level (French), and having guided many classes towards their final school exams. I've also moderated many GCSE and A Level exams with fellow teachers.
